Introducing Custom Participant Pages for Event Galleries

Turn a photo gallery into a branded destination where participants can experience the event story and find their own moments.

Introducing custom participant pages for 9Pic AI event galleries

New in 9Pic AI: Custom Participant Pages bring event storytelling, branded content, participant search, and photo discovery together in one public experience.

Instead of sending visitors to a separate event website before they reach their photos, organisers can now create a richer welcome directly around the gallery they already share.

An event is more than a collection of images. It has an identity, a setting, people worth celebrating, partners who made it possible, and moments that deserve context.

Custom Participant Pages give organisers a place to express all of that before participants begin exploring their photos. A strong hero can introduce the event. Highlights can surface its defining moments. A timeline can carry visitors from opening energy to the final celebration. Event information, statistics, organiser messages, and sponsor recognition can complete the story.

Set the scene

Welcome participants with event imagery, a clear headline, a short introduction, and details that make the page feel unmistakably yours.

Tell the event story

Combine highlights, milestones, statistics, practical information, organiser notes, and sponsor recognition into a guided experience.

Keep discovery close

Let participants move naturally from the event story into the same photo search and gallery experience they already know.

A branded welcome without a separate microsite

The Custom Participant Page lives inside the public event photo experience. That means the story, search tools, and optional scrolling gallery can share one destination instead of being split across separate pages that teams need to maintain.

Your existing participant search setup stays in place. If selfie, BIB, name, context, or timeline discovery is already enabled for the event, the custom page works around those choices rather than replacing them.

Organisers can also decide whether published images continue beneath the custom content as a scrolling gallery. Keep it on for an immersive browse, or turn it off when the experience should focus on the curated story and participant search.

Start with a design shaped for the occasion

Every event has a different rhythm, so the feature begins with event-aware starting designs rather than a blank canvas.

  • Running events can begin with Pace Grid or Finish Line Story.
  • Social celebrations can use Celebration Mosaic or Memory Wall.
  • Conferences can begin with Speaker Spotlight or Brand Showcase.
  • Other event formats can use Classic Highlights or Immersive Collage.

Each starting design brings together an initial visual style, hero, imagery, and section order. From there, teams can shape the page around the event instead of rebuilding the same foundation every time.

Build the story with purpose-made sections

Custom Participant Pages include six flexible section types, each designed for a common part of an event story.

Photo highlights

Feature standout moments through visual collections with supporting titles, tags, and descriptions.

Story timeline

Guide visitors through the event in sequence, from anticipation and arrival to the moments everyone remembers.

Stats

Celebrate meaningful numbers such as participation, distance, reach, or the scale of the published gallery.

Event information

Bring useful details such as the date, venue, schedule, and visitor guidance into the same experience.

Organiser note

Add a personal message from the host or organising team, with an optional portrait or supporting image.

Sponsors

Recognise partners with names, tiers, logos, and imagery without pulling participants away from the event.

Sections can be shown, hidden, reordered, duplicated, or removed as the story develops. Image-led sections can include multiple visuals, making them useful for everything from race-day sequences to speaker showcases and celebration galleries.

Make the first impression feel like the event

The hero brings together the event title, introductory copy, small detail chips, imagery, and an optional action. Teams can use a single strong image or a carousel, then adjust how each visual is framed so important subjects remain in view.

This makes the page useful well beyond a simple gallery header. A marathon can lead with the finish-line atmosphere. A conference can foreground its speakers and theme. A celebration can open with the people and emotion that defined the day.

Give participants a clear next step

An optional call to action can connect the photo experience to another important destination, such as event registration, results, merchandise, a community page, or an organiser website. It can appear with participant search, on search results, or in both places.

The result is a participant page that can do more than present content: it can carry attention from the excitement of the event into the next meaningful action.

Preview with confidence and keep control

The Participant Page editor includes desktop and mobile previews, making it easier to review the experience participants will receive across screen sizes. Changes are saved deliberately, and publishing the event remains a separate action.

Teams can switch an event back to the Default participant experience without deleting the Custom configuration. The saved page remains available for later, which is useful when testing a new presentation or preparing content before it should become the selected experience.

Custom Participant Pages are available now

Open an event in the 9Pic AI dashboard, go to Photos, select Branding, and choose Configure Landing Page. Pick a starting design, choose the content that belongs in the story, preview the page, and save the Custom participant experience.
